Prospect Mtn from the south side, March 11, 2007

After several attempts, we located the better route up Prospect Mtn from the Lake George Recreation Area. A snowshoe walk on a mild day was a pleasure. The snow was crusty going up, but starting to soften in the afternoon. There were few tracks after the ski area, but the old road and marked cutoff were easy enough to follow.
