This gallery contains images of star clusters.There are two types of star clusters, open and globular. Globular clusters are group of gravitationally bound stars in the thousands to millions range. Open clusters or galactic clusters are physically related stars held together by mutual gravitational attraction.They are not as "compact" as globular clusters.
