The theater.

The theatre is dating to the 3rd century B.C. it follows the design of Greek amphitheatres.
The cavea is dug out of the slop of the hill, a hemicycle sixty-three meters in diameter.
There are twenty tiers of stone seats, subdivided into seven sectors.
The orchestra, where the choir was located, is eighteen meters in diameter and with extraordinary acoustics. The theatre could seat up to four thousand spectators and still today, in the long summer nights, rings with the ancient magic of Greek and Latin tragedies

Wonderful capture, great with the history, though I think I'd be taking a
cushion along for a concert! v

Nice perspective in his cool looking shot. The two people add dimensions to this, otherwise it would not work so well. Background info, very interesting. Looks like a great place. "V"
