Le Tréport, le port

Normandie, France

Le Tréport is located on the borders of Normandy, in Seine-Maritime. A seaside resort of 6,000 inhabitants classified since 1962, Le Tréport is above all a city that lives to the rhythm of the sea. The fishing port, the commercial port and the yacht basin provide entertainment all year round. Its sports and tourist infrastructures give it an intense life and complete the many walks. Tourism tripled the population of the city during the summer period.

A seaside resort on the shores of the English Channel, Le Tréport is renowned for its long pebble beach spread out at the foot of the magnificent chalk cliffs. The estuary of the small coastal river of Bresle completes this magical setting. It is therefore a water story that is at the origin of the city and more particularly of a landing of Normans on the coast in 859.
