We need masks!

The coronavirus pandemic has caused a critical shortage of face masks for health care professionals. But what about everyday people who want to protect themselves against COVID-19? After sending out conflicting messages early on, scientists and public health officials are now universally recommending that the public wear face coverings to slow the spread of the virus.

A fine image to show us now. Most people here in Germany are wearing masks or bandanas. Stay safe and well! V

A great shop window with the maniquins wearing gold masks. When the coronavirus came to the UK we where advised that wearing surgical masks was pointless. Now like with you marie-jose they are encouraging the public to wear them as well as rubber gloves. But the rubber gloves apparently hold more of the virus and germs than our naked hands do! What do you do for the best!

Well spotted and captured, Marie. V.
Same thing here -- we're advised to wear masks when we go out, but not everybody is doing it, and they're pretty much unavailable to the public, anyway. Our neighbor, who's a nurse, was kind enough to give us two masks, and when I do wear it out to walk Sahraa, people really clear out of my way.

they are scarce over here for the public, and rightly reserved for health professionals...these Scaramouche masks do offer fun alternative..

Like this colorful shot with these reflections. "V"
No masks available here. People are making their own, or like me, they are using bandanas.
I only go out to the grocery store once a week and they have special hours for people over sixty and only let in a few people at a time.
Otherwise no contact with other people since March 13. Stay well!
