RE: Polyphonies corse: I am the first one here to notice stunning similarities between this form of vocal art and Georgian traditional polyphonic singing? This may not be purely accidental as ancient Georgian legends mention several expeditions of men who sailed in their ships westwards, following the setting sun? A hypothesis that they were the original Basques has not been proven despite some liguistic evidence. So perhaps Corsicans are the long-lost Georgians from the Black Sea coast?..
