Starting out with a view
Sadly, not our destination
Hiking through swampy green forest
Through the swamp
The book says it looks like a grave, but doesn't go on to mention whether it IS one
Moss
Little lake a ways off the trail
Windchimes? Dream-catchers?
Katrin and Andi
That soft green moss looks so inviting
Something in the Tantalus Range
Pinecones
Starting out small
Our blue-jay friend
He seemed curious about us, but never came too close

Roadside bushes
Little hill off the trail
Water lilies

The water was surprisingly warm, even for me!
Cool staircase, carved out of a fallen tree trunk
Andi's a bit of a tree-hugger
Forest flower
We encountered so many spiderwebs spun across the trail! This one was even manned.
Kind of looks like the alpine...
