I spent a few days in Kathmandu, and then went on to do a trek to Everest Base Camp. The scenery was absolutely amazing, as were the people. By the time we got to Base Camp, it was snowing, we I didn't actually get to see Everest from up close - but we got some nice views from a bit farther out.
