I visited Japan on my way to SE Asia this September. I spent 2 weeks there, mostly in Tokyo and Kyoto. Japan is an amazingly beautiful country, although the culture feels completely foreign. I'd love to go back there and see many of the cities I didn't get to see this time. Tokyo is absolutely crazy and just plain big, although there's not much else to the city. Kyoto, on the other hand, is wonderful, feels like a fairly small city, with temples upon beautiful temples to see
