On 22nd December,1944, a B24 plane from USAAF 36th Bomber Squadron, sadly crashed into the side of Holyhead Mountain, in Angelsey, North Wales, UK, with the loss of eight crew members.
This memorial is on the site of the tragedy and is close to a gentle mountain track.
It is well kept and honoured by all who pass and say a prayer.
