Except for the backpack, this could be a Turner painting.

This is really gorgeous. The light reflects a mood that does indeed create a timeless feel to it. The absence of pylons and other such modern clutter helps too! ;-)
The castle along the road, the couple ideally placed..is simply wonderful.
What a path this must be to walk on such a day.
It reminds my of the Roman Polanski film - 'Tess'.
Such a beautiful image Maria, I think. Congratulations
Best wishes to you..Rob

Thanks Chris. I thought you might like it, being a 'local boy'. Glad you had a good holiday. And thanks for noticing my new camera. A bit bowled over at the minute, but thrilled.

I am most impressed with this photograph.
The light is beautiful and the composition very pleasing.
The whole thing has an olden day feel to it.
I could imagine the couple being replaced by a chap leading a pack horse.
It is of course of somewhere that I love very much.
Thank you.

PS. Congratulations on the new camera.
