While in a flower, it looks like a giant bumble bee collecting pollen. Then it emerges and has a furry brown body like a moth on the front, as well as red tinged wings. Next day, it found a mate. Hemaris Diffinis or "Snowberry Clearwing Moth" also known as the BumbleBee Moth identified by Ernst Schütz.
