apple_6700.jpg

This is a branch of a broken apple tree gone wild on a hydro right-of-way...which was planted in the 1930's. Variety unknown, but makes the best apple pies...Orchard man from Salmon Arm says it is actually a type of Crabapple, very large, developed for the cold winters and hot summers that were the Shuswaps region at that time.
