2 Nights in Northumberland.

Photos taken on a 2 night trip to Northumberland. Some were taken from the back seat of the car. We stayed at Amble and visited Holy Island and The Alnwick Garden.
Lindisfarne Priory on Holy Island is one of the Holiest Anglo-Saxon sites in England. The corpse of St Cuthbert was found undecayed in 698 AD - 11 years after he died, and this became one of the most sacred shrines in Christendom.
