There are old things, photos, little items, which we keep into an obsolete drawer.
Every now and then we rummage in them and we tell ourselves "I have to throw away all this useless stuff", but then we think we might do that another time...
As if those little fragments of memories were part of something more important and personal we are unable to define rationally

Yvoire is a small village on the French coast of Lake Leman. It’s set exactly in front of my town,which is on the Swiss coast of the lake. Practically Yvoire is what I see every morning from my windows, if the weather is clear enough. It takes about 20 minutes by boat to cross the lake from Nyon (Switzerland) to Yvoire (France). I could get there often, since it’s so close and it offers so many possibilities to take charming photos, maybe I’ll do it soon… I have only this virtual handful of old photos of Yvoire at present and I cannot make up my mind to delete them, so for the moment I leave them here in this imaginary shoebox, with their look of vintage snapshots.
