Hush, hush...

Nyon - Vaud (Switzerland)

I have put myself in a quite incongruous situation.
I don’t like talking about myself, I have always the impression that others might listen just because of politeness, while in reality they are bored to death.
In spite of that I have started this solitary and vain adventure, consisting in writing a text as useless decoration to my average photos and in a language which is not my own...
Of course I had imagined to speak about various subjects, not strictly personal in any case. As if I were writing random notes just to keep my thoughts together about general speculations.
Then I have realized that, even though indirectly, it would have become a way to share my own perspective over daily life, so necessarily it would have become slightly personal.
So you are bored to death to read me by now, as we all become bored to death when we are invited to dinner at someone’s home and together with the coffee they take out their last holiday pictures to show us an endless series of slides or a quantity of albums with all the snapshot of their cruise, their tour of China, Egypt or Mexico.
But I’ll come back to this delightful subject another time.
Now I offer you and myself an oasis of precious silence, as the perfect one I can enjoy early in the morning, when even my friends the crows stay speechless.
Hush, hush...

Once again, I have thought similarly to what you express today. However, I have to guiltily admit that it is because sometimes I have experienced stifling boredom whilst appearing politely interested in what others are saying...so, obviously I must also bore people sometimes!
I doubt we will become bored with what you are saying, Marisa...for several reasons. You are refreshingly honest about yourself, cover a wide variety of topics and tell a good story. All accompanied by super images that are a real pleasure to view...so, not too much silence,,,please
