Sergey and I always meet in Paris, every time we have a chance to take a short trip together.
It’s just because it’s the most suitable starting point for both of us…banal practical reasons, you see.

Sergey starts the little “adventure” two days earlier, leaving from Siberia, where he lives, to fly to Moscow and the following day, flying from Moscow to Paris.
Rituals have a meaning only when they are never imposed by anyone, but find their place by themselves, without planning anything.
So we could not say exactly why it has been like that, but now, when Sergey and I meet in Paris, we always go for a drink to a Cuban restaurant of Rue de Lappe, in the district of La Bastille.
It’s the little ritual of the first evening of our holiday.
So here we are, also this time, in Rue de Lappe at night…
