This is not a Disneyland building....

Nantes - Loire Atlantique (France)

This is not a pastel-candy colour of Disney’s architects, even though it might look like.

This is really an unique place and I think it deserves to have its story told.

Nowadays in Nantes it’s known as “Le Lieu Unique”, that means The Unique Place, and it’s a perfect name for such a peculiar place.

The whole building had been built up in 1886 by a dynasty of local confectioners, the Lefèvre-Utile, and had been for all 20th century a factory of well-known biscuits and cookies called LU.

Then the factory moved away and the building started getting dilapidated and empty…

This is the restored fanciful tower of the factory.

The rest of the story will follow with next picture…
