This is not a pastel-candy colour of Disney’s architects, even though it might look like.
This is really an unique place and I think it deserves to have its story told.
Nowadays in Nantes it’s known as “Le Lieu Unique”, that means The Unique Place, and it’s a perfect name for such a peculiar place.
The whole building had been built up in 1886 by a dynasty of local confectioners, the Lefèvre-Utile, and had been for all 20th century a factory of well-known biscuits and cookies called LU.
Then the factory moved away and the building started getting dilapidated and empty…
This is the restored fanciful tower of the factory.
