This is a lovely image where the child's yellow coat reflects the colour of the window blinds. The position of this child on the left gives us some kind of expectation, emptiness further on that seems to go well with your title. Well done, Marisa !

Your eye for composition and capturing feelings is so skillful as to always grab my attention. I love the way you use color and the lack of it to create your images too. You continually see what many of us, especially me, overlook on a daily basis.

This child, propped against the wall, seems to be lost in thoughts or looking out at things that go on elsewhere...without him/her. The positioning set against the big wall with big windows seems to increase the feeeling of isolation....a feeling of 'smallness'. A superb image. I guess, many of us can look back and remember times such as these. Very emotive - a great capture. Rob
