Alba is an Italian town of 30,974 inhabitants in the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont.
Located approximately 50 km southeast of Turin and an equal distance northeast of Cuneo, Alba lies for the most part on the right bank of the Tanaro River, within a vast, flat basin at an elevation of about 170 meters above sea level, surrounded by the vineyard-rich hills of the Langhe and Roero regions.
