A typical "Casa di Ringhiera"

Torino (Italy)

It means " Banisters houses".
It's very typical of Italian towns, mostly in the Northern part of the country, to have this peculiar style of inner courtyards where all the house floors and the apartments entries are like open balconies overlooking the courtyard itself.

This is such an interesting layout, and a colorful scene. This arrangement reminds me of the Alfred Hitchcock movie "Rear Window" starring James Stewart and Grace Kelly.

Nicely done, Marisa! Also interesting is that curtain that is drawn, probably to shade the apartments from the hot sun there. I love your dream-like effect here too!
