At least it didn't rain inside...
We got in just to avoid the rain, but we discovered a little precious ancient church of late XV century.
According to a popular legend, the bells of the church of St. George, rang by a giant octopus,woke up the inhabitants of the village allowing them to reject a sudden night attack of Saracen pirates.
This curious happening is mentioned in an inscription in Latin by the church that reads:
"Saracens mare nostrum sunt infestantes noctu profligati polipus aer Cirris suis quod sacrum pulsaba"
