Refined cruelty...

I keep on feeling amazed to realize I can make anything grow.
I have not the spirit of a farmer, since I judge vegetables for their aesthetic shapes only.
I find eggplants incredibly elegant,
I polish their dark violet skin to make then shy,
I enjoy touching they elastic consistence.
Then I slide and grill them and while I eat them with basil and olive oil,
I feel deliciously cruel.

This photo is part of a thematic gallery
about apparently insignificant details and their possible meanings.

Wow that's shiny and quite a contrast with the flower. You could almost see your face in the Egg plants reflection. ~V~
