I know, I know this is nothing too impressive for Americans who might be used to Niagara Falls or Iguaçu Falls, but for us in Europe it’s the best we have as for waterfall.
On our short train ride, from Schaffhausen to Zurich, searching for grilled sausages I had only a handful of second to capture a quick image of the waterfall.
The photo is just average, but it’s a documentary one.
Located near Schaffhausen, the majestic Rhine River flows into the breath-taking structure of the Rhine Falls, which is the largest waterfall in Europe.
With its huge 50 meters in width and reaching a height of 23 meters, a torrential 700m3 of gushing water rushed over the cliff each second offering the visitors a stunning view of the cascading waterfalls.
