Iced geometries in the port...

Lake Léman - Nyon (Switzerland)

Very probably this scene has not any impressive features for northern people,
but for us it’s a sign of something quite unusual.
The wind dropped and the water in the port of my little town got slightly frozen,
I had never seen that, our lake never freezes…

Wow, how did those boats survive all the waves and ice and are still in one piece? I would think at least the covers would be torn? Amazing....

It is not only freezing, it is creating some artful geometry.
