The patient lake donkeys...

Nyon - Vaud (Switzerland)

The secret is simple…Getting up early in the morning, immediately after sunrise, maybe even a little before it.

All is silence and quite freshness.
The very early morning sun is less cruel.

The pedal boats are still resting, they float peacefully like gentle little donkeys on a liquid meadow.

They have nobody on their back now and they are happy.

All the photos of this series, which should be considered a homogenous work, compose a visual description of my very personal idea of summer. Each photo is posted on the same day it’s taken, they have all square format.
You might see also the others, if you have time.

Yes, the peddle boats do look bright and happy after a few hours of some rest, in the spectacular morning light. The air is probably nice and cool as well. The repetition of the shapes and colors is so pleasing to my eye! Nicely done.
