Our first approach with Josselin....

Josselin - Bretagne (France)

Our first approach with Josselin was extremely enjoyable.
We arrived from Rennes by bus,
from the bus station we walked only five minutes
and we got to the main square of the little village.
Quite charming as you might see….

As usual we felt like eating and drinking something,
so we took place at the sidewalk table of this little café.
At our surprise,we found out that the owners were British
and they proposed us to have fish and chips with a beer!
Guess what…we accepted.
Very funny indeed this further evidence of globalization!

A lovely quiet location. The foreground really invites you in a sojourn.

Not just globalisation; such a mixture of times as well. The new chairs and tables, new bollards along the road, old building fronts... and even a combination of an old style sign and a new style sign hanging from the buildings on the left. How much such a place would have seen through the years...
