It works like that:
by the old port there is a fisherman’s boat transformed in counter, some white-lacquered iron tables, chairs, a large gridiron and the owner.
There are also some rather grumpy signs which prevent customers from asking for bread, chips, kebab, hamburgers and anything else not clearly indicated in the menu.
The menu itself is written on another sign and it’s very concise:
Sardines, oysters, lobsters and squids.
You have simply to go to the counter- boat and to wait, because the owner might be busy at the grill; when he arrives you order wine and the chosen dishes from the menu.
He gives you a cool bottle of wine and plastic glasses.
Then you find a place at one of the white tables, which have holes along one side, for a very good reason, it’s often very windy and the plastic glass are light, so if you fit them in the hole you don’t run the risk to see your wine flying away into the sea.
After a short while the owner arrives with your food on paper plates, all carefully grilled and covered with a special very tasty seasoning of herbs.
Simply delicious.
When you finish you are requested to clean the table for the next customer and this is all.
