This morning, it’s Monday the 26th of October, when I woke up, I checked quickly my PBase mailbox too and I found this very kind message from a lady, who is not member of PBase ( I receive several messages from visitors and I must confess I appreciate them in a very special way).

She wrote:
“What? No pictures of Givrins? :) I really love that you've taken pictures of all these small towns....I'd put them all over my walls if I could! Your photographs are absolutely beautiful!! And I love Nyon (I was born in Givrins, just up the road).”

I felt delighted and deeply gratified and since it was still early I decided I had time, at least to start a little gallery, destined to grow with time.
I drove up to Givrins, the little village where this lady was born ( I have the impression she’s not Swiss or at least that she doesn’t live in Switzerland anymore) and I took some photos.
Givrins is another small village of Nyon district, it’s quiet and charming at the foot of Jura Mountains, it has about 900 human inhabitants and a certain number of cows.
It has also a very little railways station.
