We ran out of mustard, so we had to go to Dijon to buy it....

Dijon, the capital city of Burgundy, has one of the best preserved medieval centres in France.
It’s wonderful and very easy to walk and discover charming sites, with lots of pedestrian walking streets.

You can hardly forget that Dijon is also the high temple of mustard –
there's the shop of leading producer Maille at 30 rue de la Liberté, selling a range from mild to cauterizing.

I have chosen voluntarily to not give and specific written description or indication about the places I show in my photos, because this gallery is not supposed to be a virtual tourist guide or a collection of nice postcards.
I prefer to try to convey with my images the same joyful emotions I felt wandering at random over the centre of Dijon, without looking for any monument in particular, but absorbing the general atmosphere. .
