Avignon

Named the City of the Popes or Altera Roma, Avignon retains the indelible mark of the Popes’ stay in the city, which was for a while the capital of the Medieval western world.

Very interesting travel gallery, Many these days stamp travel galleries with "snapshot" titles vs real photography cliches, this one proves that of course it's wrong to treat them this way. You definitely captured the beauty and original spirit of that little town. Compliments and vote.
