Arnex tales

Here is another little tessera of my unpretentious mosaic of Swiss villages.

I have a special liking for this tiny village called Arnex, because, besides its simple charm, it has the peculiarity to have not any apparent attraction, it has not any church, any, cafe, any shop, and any post office either....

Arnex has 130 inhabitants only and it’s set in the middle of Vaud countryside.
If you go to Arnex it means you really wanted to get there on purpose, because it’s not on the main roads of the region, maybe also this peculiarity makes it so pleasant to me.

I deeply like Arnex, its tidy farmhouses, its merry cats, its quiet cows, its small and peaceful cemetery.

I have tried to capture its relaxing atmosphere and its colours through my photos.
I hope you’ll enjoy this virtual visit..

In the forest of Arnex...	Just on the corner...	Walking back to Arnex...	There is a practical way to stop the time....
La Vieille Maison ( The Old House)	And over the gate life goes on...	Just a corner of the silent garden...	The farmer's peaceful sleep....
A quiet place to rest...	Encounter...	And don't look at me with that expression!!!!	Separated by a wire mesh....
Attention for details makes a village house cosy...	Swiss countryside...	Very Swiss...	Walking along the street, called "Village Street" ....
A street village called "Village Street"....	Very succint version of Town Hall....	The mysteries of Arnex are maybe hidden behind these old walls....	The cat which accepted graciously to pose...
The farmhouse from the back...	Laziness, meditation and wisdom...	No dogs over here....	I could not take photos of all the 26 cats, but...

all I can say is it must be nice....where the flow of time progresses for sure...but at a more leisurely pace!...you've given these pictures a different, more subtle cast..which works well for the quiet mood....V :)
