This is the start of my project of learning lighting and photographic technique as done in Hollywwod during the 40s.
These are not digital "GlamourShots", made to look like Hollywood style.
These are scans of silver gelatin prints, made from 4x5 silver negatives.

I use a circa 1920 RB Auto Graflex camera, fitted with either a ten inch Wollensak Veritar soft focus lens
or an 8 3/4 inch Wollensak Verito Diffused Focus lens.
The film is Tri-X 320, 4x5.

The ladies and gentlemen are lighted by Fresnel "Hot lights" (Focusing Spot lights) ranging from 200 to 650 watts each.
This is as true as I can be given my limited space and means.
