I watched this imature Red Tail hawk make several aborted
plunges from a telephone wire at some prey below. But
this decisive plunge resulted in a kill. This exposure
was made just as he left the wire. In fact the near foot
has not reclosed after releasing the wire. I used photo
shop to remove the telephone wire and crop.
