During our visit to Ceske Krumlov our friends Zdena and Lubor invited us to several civic and social events. The first few are taken on a hot summer evening at their local hang out, Rumyší díra Port Tavern and River Spa. < http://www.ckrumlov.cz/uk/mesto/rpphv/i_rumysk.htm >
But the last night of our trip we were invited to a party in the private gardens of the Castle. There we dined in the sunset overlooking the Castle and Town of Cesky Krumlov. Then we drank and sang and chatted under full moon by a fire with fireflies glimmering about our heads. Joan and I left, reluctantly, at 1:00 AM because we had to leave at 5:00 AM the next morning. But our friends were still singing with Gusto when we last saw them.
The Castle has formal Gardens, like Versailles but smaller, which are open to the public. But these Gardens are private and the party was held by the Castle Director.
