Thanks for a great Photo of John Zayak's New T-6. This started in May as a corroded and oxidized old warbird and previous racer. The crew did an unbelievable job of restoring this bird over the last FIVE months. I was the "polishing fool" that volunteered to reserect the polish on this tired old warbird. It was an overwellming task at times, but we all felt we were bringing this old lady back to life. This plane was a Gold Racer in 1976 and finished 4th in her first trip back to Reno.
