Common Names: Rainier Violet, Sagebrush Violet, 3-Nerved Violet

Note time (spring) and habitat, (open dry areas, shrub-steppe), along with upper 2 petals are dark, lower 3 are lighter with yellow throat on lower petal and yellow beard on 2 side petals. Petal shape can be varied. Leaves are leathery with pointed tips.
