Common Names: Largeflower Triteleia, Large-flowered Brodiaea
(syn. Brodiaea douglasii & B. howellii)
USDA lists 2 varieties both found in WA state.
var. grandiflora: Filaments are nearly as thick as broad (syn. B. douglasii)
var. howellii: Filaments flat, several times as broad as thick. (B. howellii)
USDA shows both varieties in WA. state but there is no longer a consensus if filament morphology
is enough to be classified as a different variety as the two are known to intergrade.
