Lupinus bicolor

Common Names: Miniature Mupine, Lindley's Annual Lupine, Bicolor Lupine

USDA lists 10 subspecies (most all in CA and only ssp. bicolor found in WA), ITIS lists 6 subspecies. JEPSON states the species is highly variable and needs work to differentiate differences.

Note small, two colored (generally blue petals and white banner) petals, hairy lupine. Sometimes with speckles/spots on both petals and banner, palmated leaves. Found west of Cascades, mostly around Puget Sound.
