Linum lewisii

Common Names: Lewis Flax, Western Blue Flax or Prairie Flax

USDA lists three varieites of which only var. lewisii is found in WA state:
var. alpicola: (Prairie flax) CA, NV,ID, CO
var. lewisii: (Prairie flax) wNA
var. lepagei: east Canada

Note dark blue veins inside petals with yellow center. Drooping peduncle flowers buds
