Chionodoxa gigantea

luciliae (Blue flowers)

C. gigantea is more commonly known as C. luciliae.
Small, self-seeding bulb suitable for rock gardens.
Leaves are basal and strap shaped, 3 inches to 8 inches long and medium green.
Delightful, star-shaped, blue flowers with white centers grow in clusters in
early spring. 'Alba' has white flowers and 'Gigantea' has large leaves and
violet blue flowers with a white throat.
