var. macrophyllum: found western NA and NE Canada. Note rounded, sharp toothed leaves that are not deeply cleft.
var. perincisum: found throughout western and northern NA. Note distinctive deeply cleft, sharp toothed leaves.
Note hairy stems, five widely spaced yellow rounded petals, many stamens with a green center.
