var. vesca: not found in the PNW
var. bractedata: Flower stem longer than leaves. Found generally in e WA.
var. crinita: Flower stem shorter than leaves. Leaves hairy and thick. Found generally in w WA.
Note slightly hairy toothed deeply veined leaves. Unlike F. chiloensis (Beach Strawberry)terminal tooth of leaf is not shorter than neighboring teeth. 2-5 flowers per stem.
