Erythronium oregonum

Common name: Giant White Fawn Lily, Oregon Fawn Lily

USDA lists two subspecies (ssp. eucandrum and ssp. oregonum) ITIS and eFloras list none.
There is some color variations in the southern range (cream white tepals and pale anthers) but all are now considered the same species.

Similar to E. revolutum, to which it can also hybridize with. The only difference between the two species is the color of the tepals (white versus pink). The Jepson Manual states due to geographic separation that the CA flowers may be a white form of E. revolutum.

Note early bloomer, two mottled basal leaves, erect flower stem with showy white flower. Top of tepals may have green to green with brown-red coloring.

(The image with mostly pink tepals may be a hybridized form with E. revolutum). Located on the eastern launch point, 100+ yds. from the western launch point white flowers.
