Common name: Wingstem Monkeyflower, Chickweed Monkey-flower

This genus is controversial due to its ease in changing. It is opportunistic. There is some discussion of calling this genus Erythranthe with WA state being one of the few to use the Erythranthe name.
Both CA, USDA, and ITIS still use Mimulus. I use H&C for identification.

Note low elevation, and large lower red dot.
