Common names: Tall Mountain Shooting Star, Sierra Shooting Star, Jeffrey's Shooting Star

SYN: Dodecatheon jeffreyi

ITIS no longer lists any of the two subspecies and one variety, and has changed the Genus from Dodecatheon to Primula in 2011. WA subspecies was ssp. jeffreyi.

Note the large erect lance shaped to oval leaves that sometimes have small rounded teeth. White petals at the beginning of the throat with a red circle, and the sticky upper flower stems.

Note the slight color differences of the petals. Generally 5 petals, sometimes 4 and uncommonly 6.

Found in wet seeps.
