Jesus is Nailed to the Cross

After carrying his Cross, Jesus came to the
Place of the Skull known as Golgotha.
They crucified him there with two criminals.

It is hard to imagine a God being nailed to a cross by His own creatures. It is even more difficult to understand a love that permitted such a thing to happen! As those men drove heavy nails into Your hands and feet, dear Jesus, You offered Your Holy Passion to Your Father in Heaven in reparation for the sins of humanity.
