Your portraits are great. From time to time I come to check what you have done, but this time you have outdone yourselft. This image is strong in all senses. The texture is amazing. A wonderful photo, Manuel! Great composition, filling the frame with her, leaving nothing to distract. Wonderful BW conversion!!!!! Her portrait tells us a lot about her. She may be old, partly blind, wrinkles, but still she has self pride and some vanity (no one wears so many rings unless they not mind having lots of attention). She shows us she is comfortable with herself. We all should think this way. Definitely gets my vote!
I saw this on dpc earlier today (not knowing it was yours) and reminded myself to go back and vote this my first 10 I've ever given. Absolutely, truely spectactular. So so many ways to shoot this and you have created the perfect portrait. Amazing.
