Myself, I am drawn to this image more than the colour one. For me it is the eyes that draw me in. Both are very good and well done. The colour has the advantage of the deep red but that does take away from the subject as Bruce said. In black and white the cloth has a universal colour and tone to it where the colour does not. Still both are very well done.
