What makes this portrait work so well is your cropping, placement, and contrasting diagonal flows. The powerful crop at top draws to the one eye that is revealed. The tilted head, placed so well at upper left, creates diagonal eye movement from corner to corner, while her flowing hair draws the eye from corner in the other direction as well. In the middle floats that exotic and elegant earring, a perfect counterpoint to the warmth and beauty of your lovely model.
